Her work as a counselor, guardian ad litem, and mentor spans 27 years across multiple organizations in Polk County, where she has become recognized for her compassionate, faith-based approach to helping others heal.

Born and raised amid circumstances that could have destroyed her future, Lorrie instead used her experiences to develop deep empathy for those facing similar struggles. She understands firsthand what it means to rebuild life after trauma, to choose healing when giving up feels easier, and to find faith when darkness surrounds you.
